New riders

All fitness levels encouraged

New to spin? Don’t you fret.

No matter where you find yourself on your fitness journey, our instructors are here to guide you, and there’s always a bike waiting for you at hōm.

Step 1

Fuel up

You don’t want to ride on an empty tank, so we recommend hydrating with plenty of water and a small snack.

Step 2

Before your first ride, you need to sign a waiver. If you are under 18, you need one signed by a parent in person.

Step 3

Gear up

Please arrive 15 minutes before your ride, so our instructors can give you a tour and answer any questions you may have. Remember to bring proper shoes!

Step 4

Jump on

Our team will help you adjust your bike. You bring the water bottle - we’ve got the towel!

Step 5

Get moving

Follow your instructor's lead and let the music carry you through the ride. We never judge and it’s ok to sit when you feel like doing so.

Things to know

Arrival time

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the class start time.

Come dressed in comfortable workout attire and we will take care of the rest! If you are a new rider and arrive within 5 minutes of the class, we may ask you to book into another class as there isn't enough time to properly get you signed in, waivers signed, and set you up properly on the bike to have the best experience possible. Thank you for your understanding!

Age requirements

Riders must be a minimum of 12 years of age to ride, with a minimum shoe size of unisex 5, with the ability to ride safely and comfortably on our equipment (bikes) determined at the discretion of our staff.

All riders under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

All riders under 18 years of age must complete a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to riding.

Waitlist Policy

If a class is full, you will be added to a waitlist. If a rider has not checked in at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled class, their spot will be given away to the next student on the waitlist. Any riders who arrive after class has begun will not be allowed entry to the class. Please note that if you are on the waitlist, you must intend to come to the class. If you no longer are able, it is the responsibility of the rider to remove yourself from the waitlist, and late cancellations still apply if you are added to the class roster from the waitlist within the late cancellation window.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel reservations up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of your enrolled class. Reservations canceled after this time, will not be subject to a refund and will be charged for 50% of the cost of our drop in price ($12.50). No shows will be charged the full cost of a drop in price ($25).
